On the Matter of Black Hair —a passion project— is a campaign and initiative with a mission to bring awareness to the history of systemic racism that has long been associated with black hair. The project seeks to encourage us to unlearn the prejudices that have long been associated with black hair, whilst seeking to empower black women to love their hair, and ultimately, love themselves.
